You Can Do This

Imagine pulling up to the desk on a Sunday morning, pouring the second cup, and actually finishing the letters you started last week.

Not a showcase piece. Not a side business. A real page of hand-written words, in your own two hands, that did not exist yesterday. That is what this is.

Becca's Ottawa studio with calligraphy pens and practice pages

My desk. Your new Sunday morning.

Frustrated beginner calligrapher's desk with crumpled pages and spilled ink
The Part Nobody Warns You About

You bought the starter kit. You watched the tutorial. Now the nib is scratching, not writing.

You ordered the pen set off Amazon. You watched two YouTube videos. You set up a corner of the kitchen table with a notebook and a mug of tea. The brush pen dried out the first week. The nib pen catches on the paper. Ink splats. The pages look like a toddler's, and you keep telling yourself what every beginner in this hobby tells themselves.

"I guess my handwriting really is that bad."

Your handwriting has almost nothing to do with calligraphy. It is the pressure, the paper, the angle of the nib, and the fact that nobody ever told you that calligraphy is drawing letters, not writing them. Tiny mechanical things that turn into three months of self-doubt.

Your New Pen Pal

Hey, I'm Becca. Obsessed with letters.

In 2015 I was bored in a corporate job. I signed up for an evening modern calligraphy workshop, went home, practiced obsessively, and never really went back. I opened an Instagram account. People started asking me to teach them. So I did.

Since then I've brought my courses online, said goodbye to the office forever, and now get to spend my days teaching modern calligraphy to a community of over 350,000 very important pen pals around the world. It is, genuinely, the coolest job I could have picked.

  • 50,000+ students have started with my free Show Me Your Drills course, the basics program I built because I could not find a beginner course that didn't lecture you for an hour first
  • 421K Instagram, 386K YouTube, a community big enough that I have lost track of the head-count but small enough that I still read the comments
  • Taught in 16 different countries, in person and online, with students I still email back and forth with
  • Based in Ottawa, Ontario, working from the same kind of desk I imagine you are sitting at right now, except with more ink stains
  • Self-taught, which is the thing I am most proud of, because it means if I could do this, so can you
The Modern Calligraphy Workbooks Bundle

Six workbooks. One alphabet. Your new quiet hour.

Built the way I wish someone had built it for me in 2015. The full path from your first oval drill to a finished page you'll want to hand to your mom.

The Workbooks Bundle is the course I've been handing my students in pieces for years, now stitched together in one place. Every stroke, every letter shape, every joint between letters, demonstrated on camera so you can watch my hand instead of trying to figure it out from a flat image on a page.

What Is Inside The Bundle

Six workbooks. One clear sequence.

Every book is the thing I wish I had been told before I wasted six months trying to copy Pinterest posts with the wrong pen.

The part where your writing stops looking like my writing and starts looking like you.
  • How to "bounce" a baseline on purpose without making the page look drunk

  • The exercise I give students who want to develop a style they can recognize in a feed
Flourishing worked onto a finished calligraphy piece
Workbook 06

Flourishing

The swooping curls. The last thing to learn. The first thing people notice.

  • How to sign a finished page without ruining the work you just did

Full-Service Paid Growth for Founder-Led Brands

I run Facebook and Instagram ads for founder-led education businesses.

My clients are people like you: creators and educators who have built real audiences through years of hard work, great content, and word of mouth. They come to me when they are ready to pour fuel on what is already working.

I'm selective. The business has to genuinely help people, the customers have to love it, and I have to feel proud if someone found out I was behind the ads. The Happy Ever Crafter checks every box.

Since January 2026

Not hypothetical. Not from three years ago. These happened in the last few months.

New York Times Bestseller.

Got a client onto the New York Times bestseller list. He had been chasing that goal on his own for over a decade. I built the campaign that finally got him there.

New York Times bestseller proof

$1M in 11 Days.

Generated nearly $1,000,000 in revenue through Facebook ads alone for a single client, in just 11 days. Same client, same product. Better strategy, better creative, better pages.

$1M dashboard proof

Sold Out a Live Event, Pro Bono.

Ran a volunteer campaign for a live event. Sold out every seat at 3x ROAS. I did it for free because I believed in the event.

Created My Own Offer From Scratch.

Launched ads in beginning of March 2026 and already grossed $26K in the last 30 days.

11+ Years Running Ads Full-time, not a side gig
5+ yrs Avg. Client Retention Longest partnership: 2017. People stay because the math works.
How I Work

100% Performance-Based. Since January 2015.

I don't charge if it's not profitable. That's not a tagline. It's been the deal for over eleven years.

"You Cover the Ad Spend. I Earn My Keep."

I take a percentage of the growth I bring in, only after the math works. After ad spend. After your expenses. After my fee. If it's not profitable after everything is accounted for, where you make more than I do, I don't charge. That's why I only take on clients I'm confident I can deliver for. I never spend just to spend.

"Full-Service. Not Just Ads."

Facebook ads management is the core, but I also build the landing pages, create the ad visuals, and develop new bonuses designed to lift conversion rates on both the ads and the offer. Everything on this pitch page, the design, the copy, the bonus kit, is the kind of work I do for every client.

"You Keep Everything. No Strings."

Every page, bonus, and creative asset I build is yours. Use it for organic traffic, email campaigns, wherever. No exclusivity clauses, no extra percentages. If something I made helps your audience through a channel I'm not running, that's a win.

This Is What Your Ads Would Look Like

Two hooks. One bundle. Different nerves.

This is two concepts. I have dozens more in the full campaign file.

Your handwriting has nothing to do with it. I have taught over 50,000 students how to do modern calligraphy, and the #1 thing every single one of them says in week one is "my handwriting is so bad, I don't know if this will work for me." Your handwriting does not matter. Calligraphy is drawing letters, not writing them. There are five basic strokes, and if you can hold a pen, you can make every one of them. The Show Me Your Drills starter course is free. It is the 75-minute workshop I wish someone had shoved into my hands in 2015 when I was bored in a cubicle and staring at my first calligraphy book. Come learn the strokes. Skip the handwriting lecture.

The Amazon starter kit is lying to you. The box promises that the 25-piece set has "everything you need" to start calligraphy. It really has two pens that will work, one that will dry out in a week, three nibs that will scratch every sheet of printer paper you own, and a calligraphy book written in 1987. I know, because I bought the same kit in 2015. Here is what I wish someone had told me. You need one brush pen. You need one pointed-pen nib. You need a 24-pack of cheap printer paper to warm up on. That is it to start. I built Show Me Your Drills because nobody else was teaching "here is the shortest path from zero to your first real word." It is free. It will save you the seventy dollars you almost spent on a starter kit that was going to end up in a drawer.
